What this rebuild is built from, what was lost, and what was substituted.
The company’s site is gone. neurolinkmedical.com now resolves to a parking page; the archived HTML, the logo, the hero image and three team portraits were recovered from the Internet Archive.
Every statement about the company, the therapy and the team is quoted or condensed from the archived pages. Nothing about the science is invented, and no claim is added.
Where it came from
- PagesHome, About Us, Team, About Epilepsy, Our Approach, Contact and Privacy, captured between 2016 and 2021 and kept in _tools/archive/original-pages/.
- ImagesThe logo and hero image from wh.imranmedia.com/ext/incube/neurolink/ (2013 captures), and three team portraits from cdn.incubelabs.com/images/team/. Originals in _tools/archive/site-images/.
- PaletteFrom the site’s own pages and stylesheets: navy #002e6c, orange #ff8a00 / #d67400, light grey #ededed, body text #413b34.
- TypeThe original set headings in Museo Slab and body copy in Open Sans. Museo Slab is a commercial font that cannot be self-hosted here, so headings use Roboto Slab, the closest open slab serif; body text is Open Sans, as the original.
- IdentityThe LinkedIn page (San Antonio, Texas; 26 employees) supplied the address at 12500 Network Blvd and confirmed the website.
What is missing
- The Museo Slab licence. Substituted, as described above.
- A portrait of Ross Davidson. None was published; his card uses initials.
- The contact form handler. It posted to the company’s server; the rebuild’s form validates and then points at the published address.
- Any photograph of the device or the lab. The site never showed one.
- Historic captures. The 2008–2015 versions and the 2024 /current-therapies page could not be retrieved (the archive returned empty bodies); the 2016–2021 design is the one rebuilt.
Photography
Every photograph on this site is the company’s own file. No stock photography was used. The hero image and the portraits are reproduced as published.
The clip
The eight-second loop on the home page is not company footage. It is a gradient animation generated for this rebuild in the site’s own navy and orange, encoded at 1280×720 and shipped inside the folder so it plays offline.
Deviations, stated plainly
- The markup is new. The original was hand-built PHP with a commercial slider; this is static HTML, one stylesheet and one small script.
- Copy is condensed. Team biographies are shortened and the science pages keep the company’s sentences.
- The navigation adds a Sources page so the provenance is one click away.
- Nothing is requested from another server on load — fonts and images are local.
- No medical advice. This is a reconstruction of a company’s website, not a description of an approved treatment.
